Today in class we had an origin myth assessment, then we finished our group assignment on the myth "the jealous father." I learned that origin myths typically have a few features in common like explaining natural events that they couldn't explain by themselves. I like this unit a lot I loved learning about other origin myths. I am glad it's Friday and i'm excited for the weekend.

today we read a newsela article and answered questions on it. I learned about another unique and interesting explanation for the earth creation. I like learning about other cultures and religions as I think they're really cool, especially ones from native peoples. I am feeling good and am ready for Friday!

-today we did a jam-board for the origin myth we did -It helped me get better at writing -I didn't like how hard it was to get the images from chatgpt onto the actual jam board but other than that it was a cool assignment -I am feeling good and am ready for week 3
Three goals that I want to achieve this year
1. I want to get my drivers license this year 2. I need to make sure I stay on top of my classwork this school year and not get behind 3. I want to stay focused and win my fight later this year
