Dec 2 Prompt: In Letters 46–50, Celie begins to see Albert more clearly—his flaws, his regrets, and the ways he changes when he is no longer in complete control of her. Their relationship slowly shifts from fear and dominance to honesty and distance. Write about a relationship in your life that changed over time as you grew older or more aware. What made the dynamic shift, and how did your understanding of that person evolve?
Prompt Response: As me and my brother have grown up our relationship is vastly different than it used to be. We used to be very open with each other and would argue a lot. But now as we're older we don't really ever argue but we aren't nearly as close as we used to be. I understand him a lot more now and understand what he likes and what he doesn't more than ever.
