Nov 5th After reading the first five letters of The Color Purple, reflect on your thoughts and emotions as you experienced Celie’s early voice and struggles.

Prompt Response: They are very sad. The fact that the main character cannot do anything to defend herself is very hard to read through. It is terrible to read about her innocence being taken advantage of.
